I sailed as a trainee aboard the Tres Hombres, a 32-meter cargo vessel built in 1943, from Den Helder to Copenhagen (August 28 - September 6, 2025). Along with 14 other crew members (at least7 of whom actually knew what they were doing), we carried 18,000 bottles of wine using only wind power. The journey took 10 days of sailing with Fair Transport, a company dedicated to emission-free ocean cargo transport since 2007. This GPS tracker continues to follow the Tres Hombres as she sails on to new adventures.
